Transnational Project Meetings

Kick-off Meeting

On 3 December 2025, the partners of the ClimateAMBASSADORS project met online for the official kick-off meeting, marking the beginning of a European collaboration focused on supporting digital innovation, the green transition, and civic engagement in higher education through interdisciplinary Living Labs.

The meeting brought together the eight project partners from Italy, Spain, Germany, Cyprus, Poland, Iceland, and Belgium to introduce the project, present its objectives and expected results, and establish the foundations for successful cooperation.

During the meeting, partners discussed the project’s management and administrative procedures, reviewed the implementation timeline, and presented the first activities under Work Package 2, including the Climate Response Mapping Tool, collaborative study visits, case studies and expert podcasts, and methodological guidelines for Living Labs.

The consortium also exchanged ideas on the project’s dissemination strategy, defining the first communication activities and partner responsibilities to ensure the project’s results reach a wide audience.

The kick-off meeting concluded with a shared commitment to work collaboratively towards empowering higher education institutions, students, educators, and local communities to address climate change and promote sustainable development through innovation and active civic engagement.
